I have also learnt about rendering a short story from Sujatha, as Balakumaran mentioned (cinema is pending, will do it soon with some of my screenplays getting ready. If you have contacts of good production houses, let me know. One such story Sangalph, was put in this blog), whom I consider a teacher of sorts.... 26 years in my writing Tamil & English.

My first short story was "Oru Bucket Kuliyal" (Bath with a bucket full of water), which I had written in Tirupur and never got published in my name, but it was stolen by the Kumudam guys that my Dad had pointed out, where I describe how I take bath in a bucket (about 16 litres of water) head to toe with shampoo, as well and also rinse the undies and dry it! ( I think the last sentence, was something like '... ஜட்டியை பிழிந்து எடுத்து பக்கெட்டை பார்த்த போது, இன்னும் அரை கப் தண்ணீர் மிச்சம் இருந்தது, அதை அந்த ஓபன் பாத்ரூம் சுவர் மேல் உட்கார்ந்து இருந்த காக்கைக்கு வைத்துவிட்டு அடி எடுத்து வைத்தேன்!').
