சாப்பிடும் உயிர்

பதிவு ஒன்றை படித்து இந்த கமன்ட் போட்டேன். எனக்கு தெரிந்த ஞானம்...

மரம் எப்படி தன காய் கனிகளை மக்களுக்கு கொடுக்கிறதோ, அதை போலவே, சாப்பிடுவதற்காக தயார் செய்யபடும் உயிர்கள் ( மனிதர்கள் தான் கோழி, ஆடு, மாடு, பன்றிகளை வளர்க்கிறார்கள் ) தங்களை மக்களுக்காக அற்பனிக்கின்றன என்றார் எனக்கு தெரிந்த ஒரு முஸ்லிம் பெரியவர். அந்த குணம் தான் ஜெனிடிக்கல் ஜெனோம் எனலாம். ஜெனோம் என்றால்? பொறந்த பாப்பா எப்படி பால் குடிக்குது? ஹலால் முறை இது தான். வெட்டுபவர் துவா ஓதி, அந்த உயிருக்கு நன்றி சொல்லுவார்.

விண்ணை  தாண்டி வருவாயா பார்க்கும் பாக்கியம் எனக்கு சென்ற வாரம் கிடைத்தது.

எப்படியாவது அமெரிக்காவில் கதை களத்தை செட் செய்வதில் கெளதம் மேனன் கில்லாடி. அமெரிக்கா ஆசை இன்னும் விட்டு போகவில்லை போல் உள்ளது. ( நான் மட்டும் என்னவாம், என்று நீங்கள் கேட்டால் அதற்கு நான் பொறுப்பல்ல ).

கேரளா எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தமான இடம். மாநிலம். இது வரை குடும்பத்தோடு பல முறை சென்று வந்த அனுபவங்களை, விட்டு, ஒரு படி மேலே, சென்று பார்த்த அனுபவம் கேமரா காட்சிகளை விழுங்கியுள்ளது.

பெங்களூரில் ஈஸ்டர்ன் ஷோரூம் கடையில் ( ஓனரா ) அடிக்கடி பார்க்கும் பாபி அந்தோனி, இதில் அப்பா வேடத்தில் வித்தியாசமாக இருக்கிறார்!

நல்ல வேலை குஷி படம் மாதிரி சிறு வயது முதல் பழக்கம், நல்ல நண்பர் என்று போகும் என்று ப்லேஷ்பேக் வரும் என்று நினைத்தேன்.

க்ளைமேக்ஸ் புரியவில்லை. யாராவது விளக்கினால் தகும்.

எனக்கு படம் பிடிக்கவில்லை. ஆனால் சிம்புவின் நடிப்பை பாராட்டியே ஆக வேண்டும்.

Bill Gates thoughts about life

This should be posted in all schools and work places.
Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.
Rule 1: Life is not fair – get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

School fees

Most of the schools in Bangalore have increased the fees in one way or other.

Every year, it has gone up by 20%. I am not sure whether teachers get that hike. One teacher in my kids school, told me that, she is on contract for the same 5k, since 2007. Most of the schools are run like that only. Business.

Recently my kids fee was paid as cash in school. It was signed, sealed and given. A notice was sent to us, saying that, we have not paid the bill. ( many parents had this issue ).

I was travelling and took a week to go and check on this issue. For some reason, they dont have entries in terms of money received as cash. Some goofup. They asked me to show the proof or pay again. No ledger entries are made and maintained. Idiots.

I told them, if that is the case, you dont believe us, give the TC for kids, along with the donation paid with 24% interest, I will move out to a better school. I started yelling, and threw in my friends name, with connections.

I walked out in a huff.

15 minutes later, the school receptionist calls and apologises on behalf of the school. The Principal wasnt even bothering about it. They found entries in a second book it seems. Illegal collections, with entries.

So much for the values, they advertise as they stand for. Integrity. Honesty and Dependability.  :-)

Excellent article. I think I missed much in college education, but the contacts, reputation etc made my world.

Even though I am at a mid life crisis and in crossroads, of me getting affected by recession, certain learnings I had while moving into college from school helped.

The main thing, one learns in college is life skills.

It would be a nice association for anyone with Zoho, if each youngster joining there, comes out with flying colours.

Womens Quota in India

Excellent news for women, aspiring to go to Parliament. So in the next general elections this would be a reality and more attendance would be there, owing to the family get together there every day. :-)

There is a 33% quota bill ( with sub quota as per old system, of SC/ST div? ) would be there.

For constitutional amendments, a joint sitting of both houses (like what happened in OBC quota) or first the RS has to approve, then LS - both with 66% votes and then the individual states (full state capacity - now 28) will have to accept @ 50%. With Congress and BJP led govt. are there in most states, it will be a cakewalk and President would sign in a years time.

I think the delimitation exercise, would be done like this.

- Womens seat already occupied
- Where there is more women in constituency ( based on 2011 census )
- non business rich, mines less, control less areas.
- neighboring constituencies of the big wigs, to place their wife', daughters or relatives

Note - already Veerappa Moily and Deve Gowda govt.'s in Karnataka brought in 50% quota for women, and many Indian states are following.

கோபால் என்ற நண்பன்

கோபால் என்ற நண்பன் ஹைதராபாத்தில் பழக்கம். பத்தொன்பது வருடங்கள் முன் ... ஒரு வருட காலம் இரு பெட்ரூம் வீட்டில், நான்கு பேர் இருந்தோம். பேச்சிலர் வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்தோம்.... பிரிந்தோம். பின்னொரு சமயம் சந்தித்த சமயம் சொல்கிறேன்....

இன்று புட் வேர்ல்ட் சென்ற போது, அவனையும் அவன் மனைவியையும் சந்தித்தேன்.


ஆள் மிகவும் மாறிவிட்டான். மனைவி கொஞ்சம் மாடர்னாக இருந்தார்.

நல்லாயிருக்கியாடா? என்றதற்கு, தான் கதை சொல்ல ஆரம்பித்தான்.... அவன் ஹைதராபாத்தில் நாங்கள் வேலை செய்த கம்பெனியில் டார்கெட் எட்டவில்லை - பிசினஸ் இல்லாததால் வேலை விட்டு துரத்திடிக்கபட்டவன் - சத்யம் என்று அந்நாளில் சொல்லப்பட்ட கம்பெனியில் இருந்து.

அவன் வீட்டில் ஒரே பிள்ளை. அப்பா இல்லை அப்போது. அவர் விட்டுப்போன சொத்து - சென்னை வீடு தவிர வேறு வருமானம், பென்சன். அம்மாவிற்கு மட்டும் உதவியது. எப்படியோ, நகை விற்று பணம் அனுப்பிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார் அம்மா. இப்போது அவரும் இல்லை.

குடி பழக்கம், போதை மருந்து பழக்கம் அவன் தங்கியிருந்த பி.ஜி. வீட்டில் ஆரம்பித்து மிகவும் சீரழிந்து.. சென்னைக்கே திரும்பிவிட்டான்.... அங்கு அவன் அம்மா பட்ட கஷ்டம் கொஞ்ச நஞ்சமல்ல. ஒரு வேலையும் இல்லாமல் அடிக்கடி போதை மருந்து மறுவாழ்வு மையத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டான். அங்கு பிடிக்கப்பட்டவர் தான் தற்கால மனைவி லதா. பொருத்தம்!

முப்பதாவது வயது ஆன பின் கல்யாணம். பெங்களூர் மாமனார் வீட்டில் அடைக்கலம்... கால் சென்டரில் வேலை என்று வாழ்க்கை போகிறது என்றான். இருவரும் வேலை செய்கிறார்கள். இன்னும் குழந்தை இல்லை.

சரி என்று விடைபெற்றேன், என் ஐட்டங்களை பில் செய்தேன். நான் பிளாஸ்டிக் பேகை எடுத்து புறப்படும் சமயம் - அவனும் அவன் மனைவியும் ட்ராலியில் பிராந்தி பாட்டில் கோககோலா மற்றும் சிப்ஸ் எடுத்து வந்தார்கள். லதா சொல்லிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார், இந்த வாரத்திற்கு இது போதும் என்று.

திருந்தாத ஜென்மங்கள் என்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டு வீடு வந்து சேர்ந்தேன்.

சில வருடங்கள் முன்,
சென்னை ரயில்வே ஸ்டேசனில் ஒரு முறை குடி போதையில் அவனை பார்த்தேன். பிளாட்பார்மில் விழுந்து கிடந்தான்... அண்ணனோடு இருந்ததால், பார்த்தும் பார்க்காத மாதிரி வந்துவிட்டேன்.

வேறு ஒரு நண்பன் அழைத்திருந்தான். கோபால் பற்றி சொன்னேன். கோபாலின் அப்பா உயிலில் கோபாலுக்கு குழந்தை பிறந்தால் தான் அந்த குழந்தை கல்யாண சமயம் வீட்டை விற்க முடியும் ( இப்போது சென்னையில் நான்கு  கோடிகள் பெறுமாம் , வாடகை மட்டும் எண்பதாயிரம் வருகிறதாம்... ) என்று எழுதி விட்டு சென்றுள்ளார். அதுவரை அவர் தம்பி தான் பராமரிப்பு, வாடகை பணம்மட்டும் கோபாலுக்கும் அம்மாவிற்கும்...

விதி எங்கோ அழைத்து செல்கிறது....

கிளிஜோசிய அனுபவம்

என் கிளிஜோசிய அனுபவம், ஒன்பது வருடங்களுக்கு முன், மேட்டுப்பாளையம் பத்ரகாளி கோவிலுக்கு ஜூலை சமயம் சென்ற போது...

சும்மா பார்த்தோம்.

கிருஷ்ணர் படம் வந்தது, ஜோசியர் சொன்னார், உங்களுக்கு வீட்டில் ஒரு வருடத்தில் ஆண் பிள்ளை பிறக்கும் என்றார். சொந்த தொழிலும் செய்வீர்கள் என்றார். இரண்டும் நடந்தது.

சில சமயம் ஒரு விஷயத்தை ஜோசியர் - எங்கள் பெண் குழந்தை - பராக் அணிந்த குழந்தை - பார்த்து அடுத்து ஆண் குழந்தை என்று சொல்லலாம்.அந்த சமயம் நாங்கள் ஒன்றே போதும் என்று வேறு இருந்தோம். மீண்டும் அமேரிக்கா வேலைக்கு செல்ல ப்லேன் வேறு.... எங்கே போய் சொந்த தொழில்.... என்ன தொழில்?

ஆனால் சொந்த தொழில்? மனதில் கூட இல்லை. சில விஷயங்கள் அனுமாஷ்யமானவை.

இருபது வருடங்களுக்கு மேல் ஜோதிட அனுபவம் உள்ள எனக்கே, இது வியப்பு.

Self Help and Development

This topic relates to Self Help books and various related posts in the blog world. Mostly Tamil.

No one says to follow a single book. If a person has basic common sense, he or she would sift through various books and identify certain objectives that he can follow and deliver.

I studied at PSG Tech and my outlook to the world was limited to Coimbatore, and the sharings I had with my classmates and chosen friends.

If I had chosen the medical career instead of Engineering, I would have been at Madras and probably my outlook towards life would have changed in a different angle.

It is all relative to what you see and observe.

it is like friends who will want to take help from you, when in dire-straits, than sharing their own success formula, if they became famous and super rich.

But there is no substitute to hardwork.

நண்பர் ஸ்ரீதர் நாராயணன் எழுதிய பதிவு படித்தேன்...

தெலுங்கு பிட்டாக்களின் மகிமை. இரண்டு சங்கம், நான்கு கோவில்கள் என்பது அவர் கணக்கு. கூட்டம் அதிகம், குடும்பங்கள் சகிதமாக அமெரிக்காவில் குடியேறுபவர்கள்...

சேன் ஹோசே கோவில் எங்கு இருக்கிறது? நான் அங்கு பல முறை சென்றும், நான்கு மாதங்கள் குடும்பத்தோடு இருந்தும் ஒரு கோவிலும் கண்ணில் படவில்லை. ஒரே ஒரு முறை நண்பர் வீட்டின் அருகில் வியாழன் இரவு - பாபா பஜன் என்று அழைத்தார்கள், சென்று உணவு அருந்தி வந்தோம். ( பிட்சா பிரசாதம் உட்பட ) ... லிவர்மோர் தான் பல முறை சென்று வந்தோம்.

சிகாகோவில் இரண்டு பிரதான கோவில்கள் உள்ளன அல்லவா?

அப்புறம் ப்ரிஜ்வாடர் கோவில் "வாழ்க வளமுடன்" பக்தர்கள் நடத்துவது அல்லவா?

யு.கே. - பெர்மிங்கேமிலும், லண்டனிலும் - பாலாஜி மகிமை தான். இலவச உணவும் உண்டு. பிரசாதம் மட்டும் ஒரு ருபாய், கோவில் உள் கொடுப்பார்கள் அங்கேயே சாப்பிடக்கூடாது!

Common Sense Process

I was having an interesting discussion with a Senior friend of mine, with varied experience in IT industry and now in a very responsible role.

I was iterating on the use of different process models to manage projects. Water Fall method, V Model etc. PMI Framework. CMMi. Six Sigma, ISO 9001-2000 etc etc.

He shut me up with three words. "Common Sense Process".

True.

With common sense, we can control cost, and based on the cost customer wants to pay, we can customize features and deliver projects, without giving all the mumbo jumbo.

I am looking for an opening

Sharon Software Systems is on stealth mode, owing to want of funds.

The latest venture started in July 2008 indiarealestventure.com was hit with the recession. You know how real estate market is now?

The other 2 Saas ventures are also on hold since December 2009.

Do you want to invest? I need minimum of Rs 1 crore to start the venture again. Already similar amount has been spent on developing eCRM and eDataCenter along with a framework solution.

PETA and efforts

Many are commenting on my blog, which I don't publish on the PETA efforts to curb street dogs menace.

Thanks for your comment in my blog on PETA. I have 2 young children, who go out to streets and play. Hope you understand the seriousness in which I write about anything concerning wellness of kids.

30 dogs were taken out to shelter, with my effort in Arakere area. Thanks to visit of one cinema VIP to my home.

Few kids are being treated for dog bites even today.

If you want to see my area, get into G4 bus at Brigade road junction and get down at Arakere stop and walk around in the area. You will know what I am talking about.

I was one of the first few members along with Actress Amala ( Telugu actor Nagarjuna's wife ) in Blue Cross of Hyderabad. Year 1991.

I do know what taking care of animals would mean.

Arakere is the only area in Bangalore where you can see "sparrows" which are getting extinct, as they say due to telecom towers.

தமிழ் படம் மிகவும் ரசித்த மசாலா. பூர்ணிமா தியேட்டரில் சென்ற சனி சாயந்திரம் நாலரை மணி சோவுக்கு  ( குடும்பத்தோடு ) சென்றோம். பக்கத்து கடையில் வாங்கிய வெஜ் பப்ஸ் , சிப்ஸ், தண்ணீர் பாட்டில் சகிதம் உள்ளே சென்றோம். எழு மணிக்கு வெளியே வந்து பார்க் செய்த ( ஒரே கார் ) எடுக்க - நூறு பைக்குகள் செல்லும் வரை வெயிட்டிங்.

அலை கடலென கூட்டம் இருக்கும் என்று பார்த்தால், பால்கனியில் நாங்கள் நால்வர் மட்டும்! குழந்தை இருவருக்கும் சேர்த்து ஒரு டிக்கட் தான்! ( மீண்டும் சென்னையில் டிஸ்கவுன்ட் டிக்கட் வாங்கிய ஞாபகம் ) ஐநாக்ஸில் இந்த ட்ரிக் செல்லாது!

படம் அட்டகாசம். மிர்ச்சி சிவா சூப்பராக நடிக்கிறார். வாய்ஸ் மாடுலேஷன் ஓவர். அந்த பவுலிங் பரதனாட்டியம் அருமை! ப்ளேஷ் பார்வர்ட் சைக்கிள் சுத்துவது, ஒ மகசியா பாடல் ( சுத்தம்... புரியாத சந்தங்கள்... ), வில்லன் ட்விஸ்ட் ( பாட்டி! ), ஒரு ஹீரோவையும் விட்டு வைக்கவில்லை. கொஞ்சம் தெலுங்கு ஹீரோகளையும் கலாய்துள்ளார்கள் ... அப்புறம் தேவை இல்லாத குத்து டேன்ஸ். அசிங்கம். ராமராஜன் நக்கல் - மேலே உள்ள படம் படத்தில் கட்டு. ராஜ்கிரண் நக்கல் ( சோலையம்மா... ) ... வில்லன்களை கொல்லும் விதம் - ஆங்கில ஸ்பூப் படத்தில் கூட இப்படி யோசித்து இருக்க மாட்டார்கள். வசனகர்த்த சந்துருவும் (ப்ளாகரான) , டைரக்டர் சி.எஸ்.அமுதனும் சூப்பர்.

ஒவ்வொரு சீனையும் அனுபவித்து எடுத்துள்ளார்கள்.

மொத்தத்தில் பாசை புரியாத அனைவருக்கும் புரியும் படம் தமிழ் படம். வெற்றி படம்.

ஜோதிடத்தின் உபயோகம்

வரும் முன் காப்பது தான ஜோதிடத்தின் முழு பலன், உபயோகம். விழப்போகும் குழி அளவு தெரிந்தால், அதற்கு தகுந்த மாதிரி நீங்கள் தயார் செய்து கொள்வீர்கள் அல்லவா? எந்த காலத்தில் ஒருவரின் முயற்சி அளவு அதிக பலன் கொடுக்கும் என்பதும் ஜோதிடத்தின் உபயோகம். நீங்கள் உங்களை நல்ல நிலையில் தயார் செய்து கொள்வீர்கள்.

பழைய தவறுகளை அலச இது ஒரு சமயம். அதன் காலத்தில் தவறு நேரா வண்ணம், எப்படி தடுப்பது என்பது மனம் சொல்லிக்கொடுக்கும்.

ஜோதிடம் தெரிந்தவர்கள், தங்கள் நேரத்தினை விலை மதிக்க முடியாத அளவு உதவி செய்ய வேண்டும். ஓசியில் டைம் வேஸ்ட் செய்பவர்களை தவிர்க்க பணம் சார்ஜ் செய்வது தவறில்லை. சொந்த அனுபவம்எனக்கு.

ஆனால் சிலர் கல், மாணிக்கம், ருத்திராட்சம் அணிந்தால் பெரிய பணக்காரன் ஆவீர்கள் என்று சொல்வது முட்டாள்தனம்! ( விற்பவர்கள் தான் பணக்காரர் ஆகிறார்கள் ). நம்பிக்கை மட்டும் கொடுத்தால், குறைந்த விலையில் எத்தணை மோதிரம் வேண்டுமானாலும் அணியுங்கள்.

ஊரில் சிக்கன்குனியா இருந்தால், வீட்டில் கொசுவர்த்தி சுருள் , ஹோமியோ மருந்து என்ற நாடுவது போல தான், ஜோதிடத்தை நாட வேண்டும்.

Typical Politicians of India. They should travel in divided highways and bullet + mine proof cars. They should not trouble the poor people. I have seen in Washington DC, Bill Clinton's convoy pass in the next lane ( total 4 lanes ) in the Washington DC Beltway. Only inside city, they announce the closing of roads, well in advance, if there is a major function like inauguration, etc.

One way rule is illogical - typical of Tiruppur! I am from there.... Never anywhere I have seen it. Just a guess in your style, if the length of the road 'one-way' is one kilometer, and it takes 10 minutes to cross to the other end, wont they need to stop traffic at the wrong side at 5.50 AM itself? ( 11 Pm to 6 Am )

If a bat and a ball costs Rs 110 put together and the bat is Rs 100 more than the ball, what is the cost of the ball.

Well if you tell is is Rs 10 as cost for the ball, that is not the right answer.

Most of us make this kind of strategy mistake.

Simple but repeated .... but with life, a lot can be achieved with small corrections.

பேஜர் கதை (’பேஜார்’ அல்ல)

//அடப்பாவிகளா, எனக்கு எதுக்குப் பேஜர்? அதுக்குப் பதிலா அஞ்சோ, பத்தோ கொடுத்தா டீ குடிக்க ஆவும்.//

முழு நேர எழுத்தாளர் இப்படி தான் சிந்திப்பாங்களோ?

எனக்கு எழுத தூண்டியது, சுஜாதா சிறுகதைக்கு "ஷ்... ஆ.. " (கல்கி என நினைவு) நான் எழுதிய பாராட்டு கடிதம், திருப்பூர் விஜயஷங்கர் என்ற பெயரில் வெளி வந்தது. ஏழாம் வகுப்பு படித்துக்கொண்டு இருந்த சமயம்... 1981 ... நண்பன் எல்.ஐ.சி சதீஸ் எழுத சொல்லி, நான் ஒரு ஐந்து பைசா கார்டில் அனுப்ப... பிறகு கையெழுத்து பிரதி "தூறல்" என்ற பெயரில் நடத்தி ( எழுதியவர் ஸ்ப்ரிங் நிட்டிங் கே. ஸ்ரீ சரவணன் ) சில இதழ்களில் நின்றது. பிறகு "சங்கமம்" என்ற பெயரில் ஒரே ஒரு இதழ் 1985 இல் வந்தது.

அந்த சமயம் என் முழு கவனம் தமிழ்,ஆங்கில டிபேட் மட்டும் தான். பல பரிசுகள் காலேஜ் வரை பெற்றேன். ( குத்தி காட்டுதல்... அதில் பழகியது )

1987 இல் ஜி.சி.டி யில் நடந்த தமிழ் மன்ற போட்டியில் கதை ( தலைப்பு மட்டும் கொடுத்தார்கள் - மருதானிக்கனவுகள் ), மற்றும் கவிதை போட்டியில் - ஏதோ ஒருபரிசு.

அதோடு சரி... பிறகு 2006 முதல் எழுத்துப்பணி ப்ளாகில்.

முக்கியமாக ஆறாம் வகுப்பு முதல், செயின்ட் ஜோசப்ஸ் திருப்பூர் பள்ளியில், தமிழ் நாடகங்கள் போட்ட அனுபவம் - நண்பர் சுந்தரவடிவேலு உடன் ( பணத்தின் லீலைகள் இரண்டு முறை மேடை ஏறியது ) - மறக்க முடியாதது. தொடர்ச்சியாக ஐந்து வருடங்கள் நாடகங்கள் எழுதி இயக்கி நடித்தேன்!

அதே எல்.ஐ.சி சதீஸ் ( அவுங்க அப்பா பனி புரிந்த நிறுவனம்! ) தான் ஜோதிடம், கைரேகை குறித்து படிக்க தூண்டியவன் (ர்). திருப்பூர் லைப்ரரியில் பழியாக கிடந்த சமயங்கள் அதிகம்.

வேலை பற்றி ஒரு பதிவு படித்தேன். சிங்கக்குட்டி என்பவர் எழுதியது. நிஜப்பெயர் தெரியலே.... நண்பர் ராஜு ட்விட்டர் மூலம் சொன்னார்!

நல்ல பதிவு!

என்னை பற்றி நானே இன்னொருவர் எழுத படித்த மாதிரி இருந்தது. ராஜு சொன்ன மாதிரி ஒருவர் மேனேஜர் லெவலுக்கு போய்விட்டால் - இரண்டு வருடம் அங்கேயே இருக்க ட்ரை பண்ண வேண்டும். சில சமயம் ( பல? ) ஒரு வருடத்திற்கு மேல், பிசினஸ்ஸை பொருத்து வைத்திருப்பார்கள்... காசு அதிகம் என்பதால் பெரிய சம்பளத்து ஆட்களை நீக்குவது தான் சீனியர்களின் ( அதிகம் காலம் ஒரு கம்பெனியில் இருந்தவர்கள்? ) மரபு. நேரம் வரும் பொது வேலை தானாக வரும். நானும் அதை தான் நம்புகிறேன்.

என்னை மாதிரி வேலை இல்லா சமயத்தில் சொந்தமாக எதாவது செய்ய ட்ரை பண்ணலாம். ( காசு குறைவாக இட்டு ) ஐடிலாக இருக்காமல் இருக்க உதவும்.

நாராயணமூர்த்தி சொன்ன மாதிரி - நம் வேலையை தான் விரும்ப வேண்டும். ஒரு கம்பெனியை விரும்பி, அதன் நிதி நிலைமை ( சத்யம் ஞாபகம் இருக்கும்! ) சரியில்லாவிட்டால்... கதி அதோ கதி தான்.

நண்பர் ஜவர்லால் சிக்ஸ் சிக்மா பற்றி அழகாக எழுதுகிறார். பொங்கல் சமயத்தில் ஹோசூரில் அவரை குடும்பம் சகிதம் சந்தித்தேன்....

தெனாவெட்டுகள் - அமெரிக்கா வாழ் இந்தியர்கள்

அமெரிக்கா வாழ் இந்தியர்கள் பற்றி நிறைய சொல்லலாம்.
நானும் அங்கிருந்தவன் தான். மனதார சொல்லுகிறேன் என்னால் முடிந்த வரை நண்பர்களுக்கு உதவியுள்ளேன். ஒரு சமயம் நண்பர் ஒருவருக்கு ( சிறிது காலம் பழகி இருந்தாலும்) ஐந்தாயிரம் டாலர்கள் வட்டியிலா கடன் கொடுத்து ஒரு வருடம் கழித்து திருப்பி வாங்கியுள்ளேன்! எதற்கு - அவர்கள் ஊரில் வீடு செட்டில்மென்ட் இருப்பதால், இவர் செல்ல முடியவில்லை... பணம் தான் சென்றது. வீடு மிஞ்சியது!

அமெரிக்கா வாழ் இந்தியர்கள் பற்றி தெனாவெட்டுகள் என்று எதானால் சொல்லுகிறேன்? தான் உண்டு தான் வேலை உண்டு என்று இருப்பவர்கள், மற்றவர்களுக்கு உதவி புரியாமல் அவரவர் வாழ்க்கையை பார்த்துக்கொண்டு இருப்பார்கள். தவறு ஒன்றும் இல்லை!

என் அண்ணனும் என்னை இன்றும் தெனாவெட்டாக இருப்பவன் என்று தான் சொல்லுகிறார். பழகிவிட்டது போல. அட்டிடூட் ப்ராப்ளம்? இது அமெரிக்காவில் இருந்து பிடித்து வரப்பட்ட நோய் போல?

ஒரு முறை நான் ரெடிங் என்ற ஊரில் இருந்த ஒரு சமயம், நிறைய ஆணி ( பக்ஸ் ) பிடுங்க வேண்டி இருந்த சமயத்தில், என் உறவினர், பதினாறு மையில்கள் கிழே தள்ளி போகும் ஹைவே பாதையில் ( ரூட் 76 ) இருந்து வரும் போது, வந்து பார்க்கிறேன் என்றார்... என் நிலைமையை சொல்லி, வேண்டாம் இப்போது, மற்றுமொரு முறை பார்க்கலாம் என்று சொல்லிவிட்டேன். கொடுக்கிற காசிற்கு வேலை செய்யும் எண்ணம் தான்! அவரும் புரிந்துக்கொண்டார். டென்சன்!

மற்றொரு சமயம், இரண்டு காரில் பத்து நண்பர்கள் வந்து ஒரு சிங்கிள் பெட்ரூமில் கொட்டம் அடித்தது தனி கதை. எல்லா வேலையும், உணவு உட்பட என்னை எதிர்பார்த்தார்கள்!

ஆனால் என் சொந்தங்கள் ( மிக பெரிய கோடீஸ்வரர்கள் ) அங்கு வந்த சமயம்... ஒரு மாதம் டூர், சொந்தங்கள் இருந்த இடத்தில மட்டும் பைல் ஆன், சில நாட்கள் இருந்தாலும் அவர்களே ஊர் சுற்றிக்கொண்டார்கள். ஹாலில் தான் படுத்தார்கள். சமையலும் அவர்களே பார்த்துக்கொண்டனர். நான் தான் ஒரு வீகென்ட் விடாப்பிடியாக நியூ யார்க், நியூ ஜெர்சியில் சில இடங்களுக்கு அழைத்துச்சென்றேன். இன்றும் அதை நினைவு கூர்ந்து சொல்லுகிறார்கள்... ஒவ்வொரு முறை சந்திக்கும் போதும்!

சில சமயம் புது கன்சல்ட்டேன்ட்ஸ் வரும் போது, என்னோடு ( தனியாக இருந்த சமயம் ) தங்க வைத்து ( இலவசமாக தான்! ) அவர்களை வீடு பிடிக்க உதவி செய்து ( ரெபரல் fee இல்லாமல் ) இந்தியன் ஸ்டோர்ஸ் இருக்கும் இடம் அழைத்துச்சென்று வருவேன். காசு கடன் கொடுப்பதும் உண்டு! ( கையில் டாலராக இருக்கும் - எடுத்து செலவு செய்யமாட்டார்கள் - இந்தியாவுக்கு அனுப்பனும் அல்லவா? எவனோ செலவு செய்யட்டும்! ).

இன்று காலை நண்பர் ராஜுவிடம் பேசிக்கொண்டு இருந்தேன், அவர் இருக்கும் பிரின்ஸ்டன் பகுதியில், ஒரு இந்தியரும் உதவுவதில்லையாம். அந்த மனப்பான்மையே இல்லையாம்... அவர் மனைவி வேலை செய்யும் இடத்திற்கு அழைத்து செல்லும் கார்பூல் அமெரிக்கன் ( வெள்ளைக்காரர் பெண் ) மாதம் இருநூறு டாலர் வாங்கினாலும் - நல்ல உதவி செய்கிறாராம்.....

துபாயில், சவுதி அரேபியாவில் இருந்த என் மாமா, எங்கள் ஊரில் டிப்ளமோ மட்டும் படித்த ஒருவருக்கு தனது இன்ப்ளுஎன்ஸ் மூலம் வேலை பெற்று தந்தார். ஒரு நாள் வேறு இடத்தில சம்பளம் அதிகம் கிடைத்தால் - நம்பிக்கை வைத்து அழைத்து சென்றவரிடம் சொல்லாமல் சென்றுவிட்டாராம். ( நேரடியாக முதலாளியிடம் பாஸ்போர்டை வாங்கிக்கொண்டு ) மிகவும் வருத்தப்பட்டார்!

அதைப்போலவே என் நண்பன் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான். திடீரென்று என் வேலை நிலைமை தெரிந்துக்கொண்டு ( ஒரு கோடி ருபாய் சொந்த பணத்தை நான் இன்வெஸ்ட் செய்வது தெரியாமல் ... கிண்டல்? ) அமெரிக்காவில் மிகவும் நல்ல வேலை இருப்பதாகவும், உண்டனே விசா செய்து வர முடியுமா என்று கேட்டு மெயில் அனுப்புவான். அப்படியே பாரக் ஒபாமா எனக்கு விசா அடித்து உதைத்து அனுப்புகிற மாதிரி நினைப்பு தான்! அவனுக்கு தெரியாது இந்தியாவிலும் நான் மிக சந்தோசமாக, சவுரியங்களுடன் இருப்பது. அமெரிக்காவை விட்டு வெளியேறி விட்டேன் என்பதால், குறைந்து ஒன்று போய் விடவில்லை. அவன் அம்மா இன்றும் என் அம்மாவிடம், உங்க பையனுக்கு அடுத்த ரேன்க் தான் என் பையன் எடுப்பான் என்று பேசிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்! நான் முதல் ரேங்கில் அவன் இருபதில், பட் எனக்கு அடுத்த ரேன்க் தானே!

சில காலம் முன் ஒருவர் என்னிடம் உதவி கேட்டார். அவர் வேலைக்கும் செல்லும் ஊரில் தமிழ் பேசும் நண்பர்கள் கிடைத்தால் சந்தோசம் என்றார். அவருக்கு தெரியாது நம் அருமை தமிழர்களை பற்றி ( அவர்கள் குடும்பம் மற்றும் வேலை என்றே இருப்பார்கள். இல்லாவிட்டால் அங்கு மிக பிரபல எழுத்தாளர்கள் வந்தால் தான் கவனிப்பார்கள்! ) மேலும் இவர்கள் தான் அமெரிக்கா நிலைமை பற்றி கருது கூறி தான் சொந்தங்கள் தவிர யாரும் அமெரிக்காவிற்கு உள் கால் ஊன்ற வழி செய்யமாட்டார்கள்.....

சிலரை இணையத்தில் கேட்ட போது, மழுப்பி விட்டார்கள்.... ட்விட்டரிலும், ப்ளாகிலும் கதை அடிக்க தானா நண்பர்கள்?

எதற்கும் இருக்கட்டும் என்று என்னோடு பனி புரிந்த கொரிய நண்பர் ஒருவரின் நம்பரை கொடுத்தேன். அவர் மிகவும் நன்றாக உதவி செய்தாராம். ஒரு முறை அதே ஆபிசில் வேலை செய்த நண்பருக்கு நண்பர் ( ஒரே கல்லூரியில் படித்தவர் வேறு ) பார்த்த போது.... முகம் திருப்பிக்கொண்டு சென்றாராம்! என்ன பயமோ! கொடிமையடா சாமி!

நான் 1994 இல் அமெரிக்கா வேலை விசயமாக சென்றேன். 1990 இல் மூன்று கல்லூரிகளில் எமெஸ் கிடைத்தும், ஸ்காலர்ஷிப் இல்லாததால் செல்லவில்லை. பிறகு 1995 இல் லா சாலே பார்ட் டைம் எம்பியே படித்த கதை தனி! ( முடிக்க டைம் இல்லை , முடிக்கணும்! )

1998 கல்யாணம் செய்த பிறகு, மனைவியுடன் கூட ஒரு வருடம் அங்கிருந்துவிட்டு, க்ரீன் கார்ட் கடைசி ஸ்டேஜில் இருக்கும் போது, 1999 இல் குடும்ப விசயத்திற்காக இந்தியா திரும்பினேன். 2001 வரை 485 பைல் செய்ய டைம் இருந்தது!

இரண்டாம் முறையாக 2004 இல் குடும்பத்தோடு அமெரிக்கா சென்று செட்டில் ஆகலாம் என்று தான் இருந்தேன். ஆனால் மனைவி குழந்தைகளுக்கு பிடிக்கவில்லை. ஒரு வருடத்தில் ஜி சி வாங்கியிருக்கலாம் ( எல் 1 ஏ - மேனேஜர் ) பட் மெக்சிகன்ஸ் அதிகம் இருந்த பகுதியால் வந்த வினையா தெரியவில்லை. என் கம்பெனி கொடுத்த காசு குறைவு, அதனால், தான் ஆபிஸ் அருகில் அந்த ஏரியா வீட்டில் வாடகை குறைவாக இருக்கும் நிலைமை.

மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை அமெரிக்காவில் சென்று சிறிது காலம் வேலை செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன். பார்ப்போம் எப்படி நிலைமை இருக்கிறது என்று. தெரிந்தவர்கள் சொல்லுங்கள். தெனாவெட்டு வேண்டாமே!

டாக்டர்களும் இந்தியாவும் வெளிநாடும்

கெளரவதிர்க்காக வெளிநாடுகளிலேயே வேலை செய்யும் டாக்டர்கள் அதிகம். நான் சந்தித்துள்ளேன். டிஞ்சி மருத்துவமனைகளில் ( யு. எஸ். ஏ. சாதா ப்ரொவைடர்கள் )... நான்கு வருடத்திற்கு குடும்பத்தோடு ஒரு முறை இந்தியா. பணம், பவிசு காட்டல்.. என போகும். முடிந்தால் கோவை (?) கொச்சின் (?) ஹாஸ்பிடல் போன்ற இடங்களில் மூன்று மாதங்கள் ( சேவை ) என்ற பெயரில் வந்து போகும் செலவுகொடுக்கப்படும்.

அப்புறம், முடிந்தவரை டாக்டர் என்ற மருத்துவ தொழில் செய்கிற மாதிரியே ( டிகிரி மற்றும் பெறாமல் ) வரனை தேடி பிடித்துகொள்வார்கள்.

பிலேதேல்பியாவில் கண்ணன் என்ற ஒருவர் ரெசிடென்சி செய்து வந்தார். நண்பர் பெரோசிர்க்கு தெரிந்தவர். கோவைக்காரர். வேலையிடத்தில் அங்கு வாழும் கருப்பர்கள் தொல்லையால், மேற்படிப்பு முடிந்தவுடன், கனடா சென்றுவிட்டார். அதுவும் சிலசமயம் நடக்கும்.

பதிவுபோதை என்ற வலைப்பூ எழுதும் நண்பர் ரமேஷ் டெண்டுல்கர் அக்கா, மச்சான் வாஷிங்க்டன் டி.சி. அனுபவங்கள் எழுதியிருக்கிறார்.

பேச்சு திறமை இருந்தால், தீபக் சோப்ரா போன்றவர்கள், அல்டேர்நெடிவ் மெடிசின் படம் காட்டி வாழ்வார்கள்.

யாரையும் இங்கு நான் குறை கூறவில்லை. நடைமுறை.

I do have the information from authorities, of his internet provider, his username, the company he works for, his hometown, his latest visit to India etc.

This is the trace information I have submitted to the crime department. Most likely the person’s visa would be cancelled and the passport be revoked and deported back to India, to face 10 years in prison for threatening emails, as per IT Act of India. I am not going to take this light!

Read my blog posts thoroughly and you would know that I have got few such characters arrested in Chennai and they are behind bars!

Senseful people, would know that I am a Cyber Security expert, which can be seen just by googling and that I work for the authorities!

இப்பொழுதெல்லாம் செய்திகள் அனைத்தும் துபாய் பற்றி தான்... வெறுங்கையில் முழம் போடுவது என்று சொல்லுவார்கள்... அதனால் தான் அறுபது பில்லியன் யு.எஸ். டாலர்கள் கடனில் தத்தளிக்கிறது அந்நாடு. எண்ணெய் வளம் இல்லாத நாடு துபாய். அபுதாபி, ரஸ் அல் கைமாஹ் மட்டும் தான் எண்ணெய் வளத்தில் வாழ்கின்றன. ப்ரீ ட்ரேட் ஜோன் வைத்து பணம் பண்ணுகிறார்கள். எல்லாம் ரியல் எஸ்டேட் மாயம். ஷாபிங் வித்தை. சந்தை.

சென்ற முறை துபாய் சென்ற போது கவனித்தது, மூன்று மாத டூரிஸ்ட் விசாவில் திருட்டு டிவிடி விற்க வரும் தாய்லாந்த் பெண்கள்... வேறு வேலைக்கு வரும் ரஷ்ய பெண்கள்... டூரிஸ்ட் விசாவில் வந்து தங்கி வேலை பார்க்கு தெலுங்கு அன்னையாக்கள்...

நான் சிறிது காலம் வேலை செய்த அலுவலகத்தின் ஊழியர், ஒரு பெண் ( ப்ரோக்ராம்மர் ) சார்ஜாவில் தங்கி, துபாயில் வேலை பார்த்து விட்டு, இரண்டு மணி நேரம் இரண்டு குழைந்தைகளுக்கு டூஷன் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்துவிட்டு, வீடு திரும்புவார். எல்லாம் சீக்கிரம் இந்தியா திரும்பலாம் என்று எண்ணத்தில் தான் என்றார்! கணவர் கன்ஸ்ட்ரக்சன் இஞ்சினீர்.

அவர்கள் வீட்டில் சிறு வயதில் விதவையான அத்தை தான். குழந்தைகள் கவனித்துக்கொண்டு வீட்டு வேலைகள் பார்த்தபடி இருந்தார்.

இப்போது நடக்கும் துபாய் திவால் நிலை, நிறைய பேருக்கு வேலை இல்லாமல் செய்கிறது... கத்தார் பஹரின் சென்று விட்டார்கள்.

நண்பர் ஒருவர் பதினைந்து வருடம் அங்கு குடும்பத்தோடு வாழ்ந்தவர், இப்போது ஒரு கன்சல்டண்டாக ( இரு நிலைகள் கீழ் ) கத்தாருக்கு பயணமாகிவிட்டார்! குழந்தைகள் எப்படியோ படிக்க வைக்கிறார்!

நல்ல நிலையில் இருந்து கீழே வருவது மிகவும் கொடியது!

இருக்கும் போதே சிக்கனத்தோடு வாழ்வது நல்லது.

பார்வேட் டு மேனேஜர்

1. ராத்திரி 10 மணிக்கு கூட எங்களுக்கு பர்சனல் ஒர்க் வரக்கூடாதுனு எதிர்பார்க்கறீங்க… ஆனா சாயந்திரம் 5 மணி ஆனவுடனே உங்களுக்கு மட்டும் எப்படி பர்சனல் ஒர்க் வந்துடுது…? தெரியுதே, எங்களை மாதிர் தான் நீங்க இருந்து வந்தீங்கன்னு? ( புது கல்யாணம் ஆன மேனேஜர்கள் பத்தி தான் தெரியுமே... வீட்டிலிருந்தே வேலை செய்வாங்க! Telecommute)

2. அது எப்படி நாங்க சொல்லி உங்களுக்கு ஏதாவது புரியலைனா Dont make it too complicatedனு சொல்றீங்க… ஆனா நீங்க சொல்லி எங்களுக்கு புரியலைனா He is Dumbனு சொல்றீங்க..? கொடுமையடா சாமி, வாங்குற சம்பளத்திற்கு! என்னை எங்களை விட நாலு மடங்கு இருக்குமா?

3. அது எப்படி Week end எங்களுக்கு வேலை கொடுத்துட்டு சனிக்கிழமை நீங்க வீட்டுக்கு கிளம்பும் போது Happy Weekend னு கூச்சப்படாம சொல்லிட்டு போக முடியுது..? அடுத்த முறை சொல்லும் போது, விஷ் யு ஏ வெரி பேட் வீக்கெண்டுன்னு மனசுலே சொல்லப்போறேன். ( ரிசெசன் பயம்! )

4. அது எப்படி உங்களுக்கு ஒரு சாப்ட்வேர் அப்ளிகேஷன் சரியா வேலை செய்யலைனா, அப்ளிகேஷன்ல பிரச்சனைனு சொல்றீங்க… அதே எங்களுக்கு வேலை செய்யலைனா, உனக்கு சாப்ட்வேர் தெரியலைனு சொல்றீங்க..?

6. உங்களுக்கு சம்பள ஹைக் வரலைனா மட்டும் கம்பெனி ரொம்ப மோசமாகுதுனு சொல்ற நீங்க, எங்களுக்காக மட்டும் பேச மாட்டேன்கிருறீங்க? எப்படியும் நாங்க அநியாய சம்பள உயர்வு தான் கேட்போம். கொடுக்கிறது உங்க இஷ்டம்!

7. ஏதாவது ஒரு முக்கியமான மெயில் அனுப்ப நீங்க மறந்தா மட்டும், I was very busy in some other issueனு சொல்றீங்க. அதே நாங்க மறந்தா, you should concentrate on workனு சொல்றீங்க…? அட அவுட்லூகிலே ஒரு ரிமேய்ண்டர் கூட போட மாட்டீங்களா?

10. காலைல வந்ததுல இருந்து ICICI Direct, Gmail ,Geogit, Sharekhanனு செக் பண்ணிட்டு இருக்கீங்க. அதே நாங்க மதியம் சாப்பிட்டு வந்து மெயில் செக் பண்ணா மட்டும் Don’t use company resources for your personal workனு சொல்றீங்க…? நாங்களும் கொஞ்சம் ஸ்டாக் மார்கட்லே காசு பண்ணிட்டா என்ன?

What is FIX protocol?

I was browsing the net, for the Financial Transaction Exchanges during 2008, and had saved a page about FIX Protocol.

Very interesting.

The Financial Information Exchange protocol (FIX) is an open specification intended to streamline electronic communications in the financial securities industry. FIX supports multiple formats and types of communications between financial entities including email, texting, trade allocation, order submissions, order changes, execution reporting and advertisements.

FIX is employed by numerous financial vendors and has emerged as the favored specification among trading partners. The concept originated in 1992 when several brokers expressed interest in using the fledgling Internet to improve the speed, volume and efficiency of their trading activities.

FIX is vendor-neutral and can improve business flow by:

• Minimizing the number of redundant and unnecessary messages.
• Enhancing the client base.
• Reducing time spent in voice-based telephone conversations.
• Reducing the need for paper-based messages, transaction and documentation.

The FIX protocol issession- and application- based and is used mostly in business-to-business transactions. (A similar protocol, OFX (Open Financial Exchange) is query-based and intended mainly for retail transactions.) FIX compatible with nearly all commonly used networking technologies.

மழை ஒரு சுகானுபவம்

ஆம் மழை ஒரு சுகானுபவம்.

பெங்களூரில் கேட்கவே வேண்டாம்!

எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் வரும்.

காரமாக சாப்பிட தோன்ற வைக்கும்.

இங்கு சிறிது மழையில் நனைந்தாலும், காய்ச்சல் வரும். நேற்று கடைக்கு சென்று வீடு திரும்புவதற்குள் தூறல்! என்ன செய்ய. சிறிது நனைந்தேன். ஆனந்தம் தான்!

கோத்தகிரியில் இருந்த காலத்தில் நன்றாக மழையில் நனைவோம். பள்ளியில் வீடு திரும்பும் போது இது நடக்கும். சிற்சமயம், வீட்டில் அடி விழும். நன்றாக தைலம் தேய்த்து தூங்கவைப்பார்கள்.

என்றும் மாறாத இனிமை மழை!

இங்கு சிலரை பைக்கில் ரேயின்கொட்டோடு மழையில் நனைவதை பார்க்கிறேன்!

Art of eating Dosa and Biriyani

Dosa is a very good item to be a very good item to be eaten only with Hands.

During my Hyderabad days, 1990 to 1994, I used to visit Kamat Hotel regularly and used to enjoy Telugu biddas ( not all! ) eating Masala Dosa with fork and knife. Great! It was fun though!

As recently as about 1.5 years before, the President of the company I worked with, clearly demonstrated about eating Dosa with Hands ( to foreigners accompanying us! ), even though he is from North India!

The right amount of coconut chutney along with a Tomata mash chutney, with podi-milagai makes it the wonderful breakfast snack on earth!

Same applies to Biriyani. You need to mix with Raitha and the Bengan Kurma, before you dig in the Hyderabadi / Moghul Biriyani. ( with hand - it brings out the better out of it ).

சில வேளைகளில் மற்றவர்களுக்காக ( கோவில் பிரவேசம், பரிகாரங்கள் ) நமக்கு பிளாசிபோ ( மனம் திடம் ) எப்பக்ட் கொடுக்கும் அல்லவா. தெளிந்த மனதுகிட்டும்.

இருந்தாலும் சில கோட்பாடுகள் ( குடும்பத்தின் அபிலாஷைகள் ) பொருத்து சில வேலைகள் தேட வேண்டும். நான் பொசிசன் பார்க்காமல் தேடினாலும், நீ பெரிய (? ) வேலை பார்த்தவன் என்ற நிலையில், தள்ளி விடுகிறார்கள்.

இந்த விடுமுறைக்கு காலங்களில், குடும்பம் தன்னுடன் சந்தோசமாக இருந்தால், கவலைகள் மறந்து போகும்.

அதற்க்கு தான கோவில்கள் எல்லாம் தூர தேசத்தில் இருக்குமாறு பார்த்து செல்கிறோம். மனப்பயிற்சி அது. பாலகுமாரன் எழுத்தில் அதை பார்க்கலாம் அல்லவா? வெற்றி பெரும் கதைநாயகன்!

அது ஒரு விடுமுறைக்கு ட்ரிப் எனவும் கொள்ளலாம். குழந்தைகள் தசரா வெகேசன்.

சென்ற வாரம் சென்னை சென்று வந்தோம். நபரின் மகனுக்கு கல்யாணம். குழந்தைகள் எக்சாமால் செல்ல முடியவில்லை. அவர் மனைவியுடன் லண்டன் கிளம்பும் முன் பார்க்க வேண்டும் என சென்றோம். செல்லும் வழயில் வேலூர் சென்று தங்க கோவில் பார்த்தோம். பார்க்க வேண்டிய ஒன்று.



பிறகு இரண்டு நாட்கள் சென்னையில் களித்தோம். பீச். அப்புறம் தீபாவளிக்கு ஷாபிங்.

ரம்ஜான் அன்று சிட்டி சென்டர் அருகில் இருக்கும் தர்காவிற்க்கு சென்றேன். வெளியில் மிக வேர்வை.. சூடு. அங்கு குளிர்ச்சி. அருமை. ஏ.ஆர்.ரகுமான் அங்கு அடிக்கடி வருவாராம்! நினைத்தது நடக்குமாம்!

சென்ற திங்கள் மதியம் ஜெட் ஏர்வேய்ஸ் மூலம் பெங்களூரு திரும்பினோம்.

பிறகு வியாழன் காலை கிளம்பி திருவண்ணாமலை ட்ரிப். ஸ்வாமி ஓம்கார் எழுதிய ஸ்ரீ சக்ரபுரி தொடரை படித்தவுடன் அங்கு செல்ல வேண்டும் என்ற உந்துதல்.

எங்கள் காரில் சென்றோம். இருநூறு கிலோமீட்டர் தூரம் தான். காலை எட்டரை மணிக்கு கிளம்பி ஒரு மணிக்கு சென்று சேர்ந்தோம். கிருஷ்ணகிரி வரை நல்ல ஹைவே - பிறகு இருவழி ரோட். பரவாயில்லை. ஸ்பீட் குறைவாக தான் ஓட்டினேன்.

ஹோட்டல் அருனாச்சலாவில் தங்கல். எழுநூறு ரூபாய்க்கு நல்ல ரூம். ஏசி உண்டு. க்ளீன் பாத்ரூம்ஸ்.

கோவிலின் வடக்கு வாசல் அருகில். அருமையான இடம்.

முதலில் ரமனாஷிரமம் சென்றோம். அருமையாக அமைதி! நிறைய வெள்ளைக்காரர்கள். கஞ்சாவின் போதையில் இருந்ததாக தெரிந்தது. இல்லாமலும் இருக்கலாம். அவர்கள் அங்கு செருப்பு அணிகிறார்கள். இந்தியர்கள் போடக்கூடாது! மலை ஏறி ஸ்கந்த ஆசிரமம் சென்றோம். வெள்ளைக்காரர்களின் அட்டுழியங்கள் பார்த்தோம். மலை மேல் நடக்கும் போது இந்தியர்கள் அவர்களிடம் பேசக்கூடாதாம். ஆனால் அவர்கள் சக வெள்ளை தோலுடன் உறவாடுவார்கள்!

பிறகு யோகி ராம் சுரத்குமார் ஆஷிரமம், சேஷாத்ரி ஸ்வாமிகள் ஆஷிரமம் சென்றுவிட்டு, ரூம் திரும்பி முகம் அலம்பிவிட்டு... அண்ணாமலையார் தரிசனம்! கஷ்டம் விலக வேண்டும்!

உணவு அருள் ஜோதி என்ற ஹோட்டலில். ரூம் கிழே.

காலை உதயத்தில் எழுந்து ஆறரை மணி அளவில் கிரிவலம் ( ஆடோவில் ) சென்றோம்! எட்டு லிங்கங்கள் பார்த்தோம். கடைசி லிங்கம் அருகில் இடுக்கு பிள்ளையார் கோவில் என்ற இடம் சிறப்பு. உள்ள புக வழி இல்லை என தோன்றும், ஆனால் வெளியே வந்து விடலாம். அணைந்து கஷ்டங்கள், உடல் உபாதைகளும் தீர்வதாக ஐதீகம்.

அபிராமி என்ற வெஜ் ஹோட்டலில் ( அங்கு எல்லாம் வெஜ் தான்! ) காலை பலகாரம். சாம்பார் வடை அருமை! விலை பரவாயில்லை.

காலை பத்தரை மணிக்கு கிளம்பி, வரும் வழியில் சாத்தனூர் அணைக்கட்டு பார்த்தோம். பிறகு வழியில் ஊத்தங்கரை - நல்ல ஆப்பிள்கள் கிடைத்தன சாப்பிட்டோம்! கிருஷ்ணகிரி க்ளாசிக் ஹோட்டலில் ( வெஜ் ) லன்ச் முடித்துவிட்டு சாயந்திரம் நாலு மணி அளவில் மீண்டும் பெங்களூரு திரும்பினோம்.

Here are some questions to ask yourself (!) you can use to improve your results!

Achieve whatever you want!

Do I use my body optimally?

• What is the quality of my current diet?
• Do I get enough sleep?
• Am I managing my energy well each day?
• How do I manage daily stress?
• Do I have good posture and poise?
• What can I do to improve my ability to observe the world around me?

Do I know what I want?

• What achievements would make me really excited?
• What "states of being" do I want to experience each day?
• Are my priorities and values clearly defined?
• Am I capable of making decisions quickly and confidently?
• Do I consistently focus my attention on what I want vs. what I don't want?

What am I afraid of?

• Have I created an honest and complete list of the fears I'm holding on to?
• Have I confronted each fear to imagine how I would handle it if it came to pass?
• Am I capable of recognizing and correcting self-limitation?
• Am I appropriately pushing my own limits?

By the time the check arrives, you'll have more than a few new ideas about how to change your life or business for the better.

Don't forget one thing, have fear in everything what you do. That keeps you going. There might be friends who belittle you, but don't worry. They are not going to help you, when you need something! Your Irony would be, even in the time of adversity, they would ask for Sweat Equity, for providing junk existing ideas, while keeping their kushy jobs, while cribbing to friends that they are in trouble always! Your family is not going to be taken care by anyone other than yourself. Never mind, they wouldn't bother to give your kids some chocolates, or toys, while you might do when you meet them.
